Barcelona:– just 2 hours drive away from Peñiscola, this is the 2nd largest city in Spain. Visit “L’Aquarium’ – a great day out for all the family! A host of tourist attractions and places of interest to visit.

Valencia :  3rd largest city in Spain and just 90 minutes by car.  Visit the brand new Arts and Science Centre.

Castellon: 40 minutes drive south of Peñiscola.  Places to visit include a Fine Arts museum, Modern Art museum, "Capuchinas" Convent, Planetarium and Military museum.

Vall D'Uixo caves:   Journey to the centre of the earth, gliding along the still waters of Europe 's longest navigable underground river.Vall D'Uixo is south west of Castellon

Universal Mediterranea : This is Universal Studios European theme park. Located in Salou and approximately 1 hours drive from Peñiscola - incorporating Port Aventura and Costa Caribe giant water park, which includes an indoor area that can be visited in winter months.

 

Panoramica Golf: with an 18 hole course designed by Bernhard Langer, Panoramica Golf Course is considered one of the finest in Europe . It is approx. 30 minutes drive from the apartment.

 

Jardin del Papagayo: A zoo of beautiful parrots situated just 5 minutes drive from Peñiscola.

Aquarama:  to the south of Peñiscola situated in Benicassim, you will find the fun packed aquatic park with its spectacular waterslides.

Delta del Ebro:   Visit one of the most beautiful Natural Parks in the Mediterranean.  A boat trip around the mouth of the River will enable you to enjoy the great wealth of flora and fauna living on its banks.  Situated approx. 30 minutes north of Peñiscola.

The Columbrete Islands:  A group of volcanic islands situated 35 miles from the coast.  With extremely wealthy sea beds, the islands are protected as a Conservation area and access to them is restricted to protect their natural ecosystem.  However, during the summer months it is possible to book crossings to visit them.
